2009 Washington DC Dragon Boat Festival: Lunch time at the festival tent city
At lunchtime on Saturday, I wandered around the tent area. Everyone seemed to be eating fried fish. The pictures give an idea of the different teams which were there, they almost all had special tents, signage and shirts. The speaker system was loud enough to hear the announcements all through the park. It was the first time the new park where the old outdoor Georgetown parking lot used to be. It was a nice festival ground but didn't really have enough porta potties.
